Default Which look for my Family Room

Some very exciting news. Our little house is going to be featured in an online magazine soon. But the big dilemma is which cushions to use in the family room? I am a hoarder of cushions and throws as you probably know.

Do I stick with the present look inspired by our trip to Provence. I have changed the flowers to a white orchid in a hurricane shaped glass vase. So flowers or orchid? So many decisions.

Here is a close up of the cushion.

Or the look that says spring. With these cushions and a soft purple throw and a purple orchid?

So what do you think? I'm a little nervous about the whole thing.

Can't wait to see your house in the online magazine. How exciting! I like the present look but the orchids would look nice. I like your first cushion
I can understand you being nervous but you must be very excited as well.

I'm probably not going to be much help here - they both look good. I like the neutral look but I also like to see a bit of colour too..... and some extra cushions.

Maybe do the room up both ways & take your own photo of each version & upload them on your computer - it could help you make the decision. I do things like that sometimes when I can't make up my mind about how I want something.

I think I like the Province style look. From everything else you have in that room they suit beautifully

I am liking the idea of throwing the purple into the mix.....simply for a bit of colour to come through in your photos and something to catch the readers eye and take them around the room.....
The floral cushion looks a bit like an olive branch design?....it could still be viewed as a french look with your other items...
I have to say regardless I love both those cushions but for the purpose of the photo I think a hint of colour would be nice......
You will have to let us know when and where.......sounds very exciting....

I'm sure whatever you choose will look amazing. I think the purple could work beautifully for the photo - could use the orchid as you say or irises maybe?

I really like your current look, slightly more elegant in my opinion. If you want to add more colour I find the best way is with flowers or pretty coffee table books.
