Hi, A-M, newbie forum member, here. Live in Brisbane in an apartment in inner city West End (currently between houses) with my hubby and 2 sons. Still deciding on which state we wish to live in. Seeking a lifestyle change (less traffic, less humidity) after pretty much living in Brisbane for 43 years (give or take a year or so overseas). I suppose we'll stay here if a super duper block of land magically appears for my next building project. "We live on the edge" as my 12 year old says! A-M xx

I think that is fabulous that you can just pick up and move A-M. For us to move states is such a drama between DH finding an equivalent job and Mr17 finding just the right university. I would love to move to a cooler climate too- we are winter people which is strange as we all have been bought up in Perth. I am sure a fantastic block is just waiting for you in a lovely cool location.

I live in Melbourne, and have done so for 38 years. I actually couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I love the lifestyle, and I love the weather (not 'too' cold and not terribly humid for long, either, and always changeable). I love the City, I love the mountains, I love the beach....all close by. I love the food, the wine, the culture and the shopping! The drivers can be a bit naughty and the public transport is atrocious....but I honestly wouldn't want it any other way!

I live in Adelade. Moved around a lot while living with the parents but am building our forever house 20mins from the city/2min drive from the beach.

I am in Wollongong NSW I love it because we are only 10 min drive to the beach and housing prices are cheaper than Sydney lol
