Tiffany&co dramas :(
I just found out that the cufflinks I wanted to buy for my nephew are no longer available (on back order)!!!
These are the ones I wanted to get and have his initials engraved:

Unfortunately, I have a budget. It's around $325 for the plain ones (as I would have them engraved) or $400 for the non-engravable ones. What do you think, which ones should I go for considering this is a christening present:

Mr18 suggests the round or oval ones but with the engraving at the back not the front. I would agree with him. So that's 2 votes.

We have a bunch of summer clerks and grads around the office at the moment and the style they seems to opt for is more along the lines of the moderne ones or the bevelled edge ones.

I like the bevelled, its clean and I dont think would go out of fashion. I wouldnt engrave the front because it would get scratched.

I like these best:

Completely classical - not going to go out of fashion - and I would engrave the back.
Or it could be fun to just do one large letter on each - first initial and last initial in a nice clean modern font - nothing curly (of course the font won't be modern when he uses them but che sera sera)
