Default Single sidelight window - what to do

Hi all,

New dilemma: I have a single sidelight window next to the front door. The tenants had a sheer curtain hanging there. It gets caught in the door and so on, quite annoying and bound for the trash. But I don't know what to replace it with. Having a window covering there just seems to complicate things as it can't sit flush within the frame as there's a crosspiece, like a ledge, about half way up the window. I'm thinking of replacing the clear glass with coloured, obscured glass. Who does that sort of thing? Any old window people? A stained glass guy?

I don't know what it is called but you can get some type of film to put on making it obscure

Yes! I could put some of that vinyl that looks like frosted glass. That could be a great, cheap answer.
