Should I have a Bulkhead for Linen Cupboard?
Hey guys, I have a linen cupbaord and I'm not sure if I should make the doors go to the ceiling or have a bulkhead. The height of ceiling is 2.65m. Will the doors look too high without a bulkhead?
If there is any relevance, the linen cupboard is 3 lots of 1.1m double doors - nexto eachother. What would you prefer the look of?

Does it stretch from wall to wall? Or is it "stand alone"?

It is wall to wall, so it looks fully built in and not stand alone. It's upstairs and will be glossy white doors.

I guess I should be asking the same questions for our Built I Robes too - I dont know what to do :-(. They will be sliding mirror doors.
This is all I can find with no bulkhead, they look really tall.

I am a sucker for bulkheads so I would go with one. But you will have extra storage without one...
We've got bulkheads above all our built ins and above laundry cabinets. But in our walk in robe we are going all the way to the ceiling. Our ceilings are 2.7m throughout.

You can't go wrong either way, in my opinion

I think they do look nicer with a bulkhead, but I'm not totally convinced lol.

Check with your cabinet maker as the larger the door the greater the chance of them warping. I have tall doors which they were very reluctant to make, but I can't help with your choice as mine also have a bulkhead above

NewHome will the linen cupboard be hinged or sliding doors? And are they in the laundry or the hallway?
This is not a great picture but these sliding doors don't have a bulkhead. The ceilings here are only 2.4mt high.

They will be in a hallway, I have a small 1.2m cupboard in Laundry. Linen cupboards will be hinged, built ins are sliding. I think I like it with a bulkhead.
