Rosie's Laundry
Hi guys can I run something by you all. Had the cabinet maker out today and have measured the laundry up. The guy also left MrRR with a sample of my cupboard doors which MrRR was horrified by. The doors are Tesrol Molina Sand Melamine which have this whitewashed woodgrain loo about them. Anyway I loved them but Mr RR didn't. So I created a mood board to show him and he still couldn't see it. Just wondering if anyone has used this colour, or looking at my mood board see what Mr RR sees. Honest opinions please...... Thoughts on my mood board.....??

Hahaha, after five minutes I gave up looking at the first one just to find that the second, larger picture was already there!!!
I think that scheme works, in and of itself, it is great.
Questions for consideration, though - how close is the Laundry to the Kitchen? How close is the Laundry to the Bathroom? If they are close, will the schemes match or complement each other?
We usually have a bathroom right next to our laundry, so I like them to work together.

Sorry to blind you there with my tiny pic
The bathrooms are not near laundry or visible from anywhere else so diff scheme ok.
What do you think of the molina sand which is a textured veneer whitewashed looking finish?
Mr RR says it should be white but I think white too sterile, he thinks the veneer is too fashionable now so will date quickly.....

I really like the Molina Sand! The colour is very similar to our old bathrooms, but a different grain, so yes, I like the scheme as is!

I like white laundries too but I also like the timber veneer. I have used timber laminate on cupboard doors several times. And we have been thrilled with the look. Timber doesn't really date - unless it is an extreme look like wenge or the zebra striped timber. I think this looks lovely and won't date quickly at all.
But sadly MrRR does live there so he gets a say. What does he want?
