Hi TIM,
I agonised over this decision too. In the end I went with simple roller blinds. Much cheaper and as I am allergic to dust probably a better solution for me. I may add sheers further on down the track.

Thanks so much for that Sooty. I've emailed a place that sells Verosol here in Adelaide.

Thanks Abigail

I am glad to hear that I'm not the only one that finds it difficult to make a decision on this

Having had both I prefer curtains my self easier to wash.Even if you washing machine is not big enough you can always take them down to laundry mat and wash them.I had roller blinds in my last home didn't last long before they didn't work properly and more.It is a fact that curtains are better to keep out heat etc.We had a climate guy came in and did assessment on our home and said we had done the right thing with the curtains for heating and cooling of the home.I always found it hard to keep the roller blinds clean myself always thought they looked dirty

Thank you ladies.

I just got this from the lady who did our quote:

Obviously curtains will have better insulating as you are getting double fabric width of window, blockout curtains give you 100% and blinds will do about 85 to 90 I think as you will always get light gaps with blinds.
