Rofl- that sounds so funny. Yes I use it on timber, tiles and carpet. With the bathrooms I wait until the afternoon when the floor is completely dry. Plus I use a little dustpan brush to brush out the corners and behind the toilet. Brush the dirt into the centre of the floor for the vacuum to collect.
There is a Scooba model that vacuums and dries. It has just come out and is about $800 I think. It is on my wishlist.

Just an update - I am sad to say though that I wouldn't recommend the robot vacuum for timber floors. At night if you stand directly under any of the lights you can see faint circles have been scratched in the floor from the robot vacuum. You don't really notice it unless you are looking directly at it at the right angle. But I know how fussy many of us are here so I wanted to let you know.
