Gorgeous, Di! I love that you can still see so much of the detail of the windows when the shutters are tilted open.

Thank you, Jess & dmplus3.

I did have someone say it would be a shame to cover the window with shutters but I looked at it this way:

The window faces north so it gets very hot up there so it needed something. A block-out blind would have meant covering the window completely during the heat of the day in summer and while we feel the only way someone could see into our bathroom is with binoculars, having something for privacy at night is not a bad idea so the shutters it was.

I like that we can still see most of the stained glass and they are functional. They really complete the room. We're both so very pleased with them AND the Romans. Curtains would have been a good choice too but there were so many reasons pointing away from them and for consistency, the Romans work well for what we need.

Ditto - I actually had to look twice to work out that the shutters were on there!

The Romans look great. But the shutters are gorgeous. So glad you were able to have some shutters Di.

Thank you, Cherylle & J-A. Hopefully they get back with our Romans for the triple sliders soon. They were took long so needed to be shortened. The installer was fantastic.
