Lanne what a mammoth, boring and frustrating task. Did you see on ACA last night they had short cuts on how to get to talk to a person when calling lots of these companies? They got through to an actual person on Vodafone in 19secs. Unbelievable!!!. I have taken 3 days before. It might help to get through this quicker. Big hugs to you and you are allowed to have pity party - this truly stinks. By the way I now have a password on my laptop - thanks for that tip

Lanne

I have just finished the cookbook I have been making for my son and have uploaded it to Blurb.

Thanks so much for recommending the software and your ideas. The software is really simple and in the end I used one of their recipe templates. I am used to using InDesign, so at times the lack of control was a little frustrating, however I am really thrilled with the final file. Because it was their software the uploading was extremely simple and surprisingly quick.

Fingers crossed it looks as I imagine when it is printed.

I have used all our family recipes and added family photos rather than photos of particular food items. It doubles as a photo album and tells quite a story I think.

Thanks so much for your absolutely FANTASTIC idea. I have ordered a copy for me too so all my favourite recipes are in one place!!

Just to let you know my recipe book has arrived and I as so pleased with it

The template pages I used with a cutlery background look quite sharp and professional. The whole process was very streamlined and simple using the Blurb software. I would really recommend it. My son's birthday is not for a week and can hardly wait to see his reaction!

Thanks again Lanne for this great idea.
