Ok so at Albi imports yesterday I came across a pair of red lamps marked at $20 each............a quick can I paint these to suit my bedroom flashed across my mind.....may even change fabric on shade......... they were a little scratched and maybe one red was a shade lighter than the other but for $20 each I know I can give them some love and cross off several hundred dollars from my lighting budget......

I have only photographed one but they identical and a great shape........

I'm loving this thread and seeing everyone's treasures & bargains!!

RR the lamps are lovely shape and height. What colour will you be painting them?

Note to self ... get out to the other side of town and check out Albi !!!

Great shape RR. Depending on what colour you do the base you may not need to change the shade. I love drum shades.

So I am thinking the bases to be painted a taupe colour..........

They are quite high and would look great as bedside tables in my bedroom with the 3m celings....

As long as you don't find any dead flat cats underneath when you move. On hoarders the other night, the lady had that much stuff that two cats had gone missing and guess where they were?
