I love the overall feel of the room but when I look closely there are lots I would change. The bedhead I would change to something light in colour. I love the wall colour but I would change the base of the lamp maybe silver or black, so it doesn't blend into the wall as much. I don't like the bedlinen - it looks Grandmaish. I love the black and white pictures and the windows. I too need curtains as I love to sleepin. And the bench I would change to something without a back to it.
So overall I love it but I don't - that makes sense right???

I dont think that this room looks like a master bedroom either. The colour on the wall is gorgeous have just painted our Dd's bedroom in this duckegg blue/green colour although it was just a feature wall. I like the dark bedhead too, and for those that didn't like that feature lol (my Dd's bed is dark wood too ) I like the grey frames on the wall, they seem to be less contrasting than black would be.

I didnt like the back on the chair at the end of the bed, I love end stools but not with backs on them. I also didn't like the black window panes. Im not enitrely sold on the colour of the quilt and definitely do not like the style of it.

Well I like the quilt (so long as there are no ruffles like the pillows) & it's colour compliments the bedhead which I also like but I hate the matching ruffled pillows, I would have a darker brown sheets & pillows to bring out the lines in the quilt. I also think the windows may be dark brown so the creams & browns tie in nicely & the blue/green walls are lovely.

I love the windows, have no problem sleeping with sunlight just not noise!

I don't like the look of furniture at the end of the bed but that bench just looks wrong. That & the blanket also hide the irregular pattern in the quilt, did I say I like the quilt

I'd like to see the rest of the room

I actually like the ruffle bedlinen but the sheets look like they are a hideous apricot colour and the cushions are pretty daggy also. I think I like this room as it looks real - it doesn't look "staged" at all and the mismatched chair at the end is a nice touch (as I said above - only for a guest room).

I like that the quilt is sort of scrunched fabric (no ironing ), I just thought it may have a ruffle around the edge like the pillows which look so dated.

I came back to look at the wall colour, it is quite restful, I could easily go to sleep in this room
