Quick Tiramisu Flan

Preparation time - 15 mins (plus at least one hour refrigeration)
Serves 8

Ingredients
1 x 200g Kuchenmeister (or similar) Tortenboden Sponge Flan
2 x 250g Philly Cream Cheese (softened)
1/2 cup icing sugar mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 & 1/4 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons Creme de Cafe essence (coffee essence)
1/4 cup espresso coffee (or strong coffee)

For decorating:
300ml thickened cream, whipped and firm
1 to 2 tablespoons cocoa powder or grated chocolate or chocolate curls

Method
Place coffee in plunger and top with boiler ater. Stand for 5 minutes. Push plunger to based. Strain coffee and cool.

Combine 1/2 cup strained coffee with 1 tablespoon Creme de Cafe essence. Place flan on 30cm flat serving plate. Spoon coffee mixture evenly over flan.

Beat cream cheese with icing sugar, using electric beater, until smooth and creamy. Gradually beat in 1/2 cup strained coffee, remaining tablespoon Creme de Cafe and vanilla extract.

Spoon into flan base. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

To serve - cover with whipped cream and dusted cocoa powder (or grated chocolate or chocolate curls instead of cocoa powder).

That sounds really yummy and so easy 4sterftg. I will definitely give this a go. DH and Mr17 will love it. But I can't make it for Saturday as MIL won't eat any cheese including cream cheese.
