Quality of replica furniture?
Do all replica furniture vary in quality and finish? Or are they all similar?
I am considering buying these chairs but, Relax House are based in Victoria
Is anyone familiar with their replica furniture quality?
Replica Louis Ghost Armchair
Replica Eames Eiffel DSW Chair
If anyone knows any places in Adelaide that sell replica furniture as above I would love to hear from you

Hi,
I don't know of any physical stores in Adelaide as I live in Sydney but I know you can get those from Zanui with free shipping: http://www.zanui.com.au/furniture/replicafurniture/
In case you are into buying online, they seem to have a pretty decent assortment.

Im not sure about the online stores but i no in local shops there has been quite a big difference in quality. I went to two local shops to look at eames chairs both pretty much priced the same and one was a very plastic, very glossy looking material which was very cheap looking and the other shop had the matte, stylish look you would expect. I was glad to find a store that stocked the ones i wanted as i was a bit hesitant to buy them online. I think if you stick with matt blatt or someone reputable you will be ok.

Matt Blatt is supposedly very good for replica furniture, Click On Furniture too. They both deliver Australia wide I think. I'm interested to know how the quality of this type of furniture stacks up too. There's a few bits and pieces I've always wanted!
Linda.

Has anyone had experience with https://www.milandirect.com.au? They seem to be significantly cheaper than MB

Not sure..............do they have a returns policy if u r not happy?
Oh and reading through the e-zine "est" archives today I thought of you as in each issue they go through and talk about a real mid century classic vs a replica...... if you have read these mags you may find the articles interesting....
Est is such a pretty and stylish mag to read anyways....
