I found this interesting website last night and thought I would show you. It's called
SQM Research. They provide all sorts of information about properties in your area. Most of the information is for free. You do have to pay to get a Home Discounts Report - $39.95 per postcode. This list tells you how long the properties in the specified post code have been on the market for. Although it only includes those that have been on the market for 60 days or more. You can also see if the asking price has been dropped and by how much.
I liked all the statistics on the demographics of your suburb. I live in a suburb of Catholic people in their 40's with good incomes but they have mortgages on their homes. What you can find out about your neighbours
