No you can't K, they'll just go flat like a pikelet. You'll need a proper pan for them to be like little pillows of yummy-ness

Thanks for posting the recipe. I have one of the electric makers from K-mart, does the trick well! I have been so far making them using just normal pancake mix but once I move into my house and get myself all set up, I'll be able to make them properly!

I made a batch earlier last week - went down a treat ... traditional of course with butter and icing sugar !!

The recipe I have is with buttermilk. I bought the pan years ago and came with a recipe...must try and find it again
