Pasta Salad Recipes
Hi ladies,
I've been asked to bring 3 or 4 different types of pasta salads to a function on Friday, and not being a big pasta girl myself, I'm struggling to come up with any decent recipes.
Do you have a favourtie recipe you can share?? Please help.

I'm also interested in a Pasta Salad recipe, but just a basic one like the Woolworths one. My son loves it but when it could be made for 1/5th of the price, I baulk at paying so much when I could whip it up myself.

There's one we sometimes get from a gourmet deli with like a sundried tomato pesto, sliced olives, and pine nuts. I will need to buy it again to try and replicate it. It is soooo yummy.

Orzo/Risoni Salad:
here is your ingredient list: olive oil, balsamic vinegar, 1 red onion, dried cranberries, pine nuts ,1 package of risoni or orzo, crumbled feta (we use fat free), and a bag of rocket
boil your pasta. don’t forget to salt your water!
drain your risoni and throw it into a large mixing bowl. while it’s still hot, you can add the toasted pine nuts, dried cranberries, and red onion, mix it all around (add in a little olive oil at this point) and add some salt and pepper
while the risoni is still warm (but not hot), add in your bag of rocket and fold. It will wilt a bit from the heat. Add more olive oil and your balsamic vinegar. I don’t use any specific amounts, just keep tasting until you like.
Then lastly stir in feta..

Thanks Rosie. Loved the look of some of the pasta salads on the saladservers link, but there are no recipes there

No recipes...no but I thought it could give you ideas on what to whip up.
Being a non recipe girl myself I could look at the picture and then experiment.....but I realise many are uncomfortable with that so
If there is one dish that grabs you I could give you a rough idea what is likely to be in it.
Basically anything goes with pasta salad....boil pasta, add ingredients and some binding agent or dressing.....
