Hi Tiffany, I bought a 10 Litre satin Dulux water based paint, but I can get paint cheaper from wholesaler paint shop, not Bunnings I bought the tin this size as I knew I had 2 shelves and a desk to paint so needed more. I can't remember the cost, sorry! The Zinsser BIN Primer is about $17 for a standard sized spray can, and this would adequately cover your bedside table in 2 or 3 light coats. The brush is only about 2 inches wide and is a chisel brush. I know it sounds small for large furniture, but it fits my hand well, and any bigger my hand would tire and be too awkward to use ( but that's just me, a larger one for you might be easier to use!). I did buy the brush at Bunnings, and has black bristles with a maroon handle. I can't think of the brand but it wasn't too cheap, nor too expensive! I've had it for years! I also find the smaller brush doesn't get too overloaded with paint and then drips where you don't realize and then dries! I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to painting! It might take longer with a smaller brush, but my hand doesn't hurt from the weight of a heavy and large brush and I have no paint drips!

Hope that helps a bit?

Hi Tiffanyjane!

If you didn't want to pay the crystal prices, you could go with glass. We bought these k.n.o.bs last year and they are beautiful, as well as well priced.
