Hi Angel - I love monument - we're renovating in bits and pieces so replacing old windows with monument and building garage with monument roof, gutters, fascia and garage door.

Thanks CLP. I was worried that it would look too dark and that it would make the house look really squat but it doesn't seem to...

It is amazing how you really need to see colours in place before you can see what they will look like, if that makes sense?

I am hopeless with visualising things.

The main thing is that you are happy with it.

If you were tossing up between the two colours, perhaps Monument was just 'meant to be', even though you'd chosen the alternative!!! I'm sure it will look great!

The funny thing is that the house across the road is in the colours we had chosen and we liked that...but now are glad as we will look quite different from the house across the road!

Hi all. I hope everyone had as good a break over the Christmas/New Year period as I did. The only sad part was that our house was at lock-up on the Thursday before Christmas and they have only come back to work this week! Still everything is all go now and we think the plaster will be hung (not sure if that the right wording) on Monday. Our solar hot water panel has been installed, the ducted heating unit and evaporative cooling units are in place. The electrician has been hard at work this week.
More news next week...I hope!

It is really starting to look like a house now...we have plaster inside and they have done quite a bit outside too. The garage floor has been poured and the bricks have been washed - I absolutely love the colour of them! .
The other fantastic news is that we sold our old house on Sunday. Now to pack.....
