This water filter fits straight on to your existing tap. There is not need for an extra tap for the filtered water. What a great idea.
The filter is by a company called HiFlow. It is a metallic based filter and is plumbed directly into the kitchen tap. The other big advantage is the cartridge lasts longer. The average water filter cartridge supplies 3000 litres but the HiFlow supplies 15000 litres. Plus you can use filtered water for washing and rinsing your dishes.
The unit costs $329.
It looks like a good system if you want to add it to an existing kitchen.

We have the separate tap on the sink. I love the taste of the filtered water and really notice when you drink unfiltered water when out.
