Default New Layout

Hi everyone, you will start to see a new layout here on the Decorating Forum over the next 48 hours.
We have chatted about so many different topics it is getting a bit hard to find your way around. So there will be new categories to hopefully make it nice and easy.
If you can't find a topic use the Search button at the top here or send me a Personal Message and I will try to help.
I hope you like the new layout.
If you have any suggestions or ideas for the forum send me a Personal Message- I would love to hear from you.

Hi Julie-Ann

Liking your new layout so far

I like it that it is divided into sub areas and it's much easier to find things.

Good work

Thanks Milena
I was worried everyone might be getting confused.
It is a very boring task as I have to move each thread 1 at a time. But I am sitting here watching decorating shows at the same time. I just was watching about decorating styles around the world- gorgeous.
Hope you are having a good day too.

I realised when I opened the kitchen thread how much work is involved to move everything across
Oh how I wish I had Foxtel to watch those shows. In the new house I am definitely getting Foxtel
I am having a very productive day and going out for dinner later to celebrate DH new job.
Have fun rearranging the forum

WOW! I have just come back in after a few hours absent and I can see the little thread names at the side of the posts when I click on "New Posts" - which is what I usually do each time I come in - and wow so many threads!!

Yes I know how much of a tedious task it is BUT it will be so worth it!!

WELL DONE!!!

So all the tweaking and moving is done.
I hope you all can find your way around.
Oh and don't feel too sorry for me. I declared that I had to have total control of the Foxtel Remote since I was doing something so boring- any excuse.

The new layout is great Julie-Ann! You have done a great job!
I would like to suggest you add an area for Nursery and Kids bedrooms only being there are quite alot of blogs and places you can search online to find these things and maybe this might help you rank in google and inturn find some new members too. Just an idea.
Now I better go cause I have some reading to catch up on!

It was something I was thinking about too Fiona. I will have to consult with the forum gurus as to whether it is too soon or not. But thanks for the idea.
