Default the new laundry

how lazy is it to copy and past this? ah well when we extended the house we got rid of the toilet altogether and just have an ensuite for our bathroom and like you saw earlier the other toilet is in the main bathroom, where our fridge and pantry now stand use to be our laundry till we removed the walls, my washing machine was then put out into the carport area off the house which just has a patio roof on it, anyhow we got council approval and enclosed it all in bricks and it is now the new laundry with storage at the back of it and another toilet in there and we ..ahem (dh actually ) cut a hole in the side of the house through into the new laundry... lol anyhow the point to all this is, dh finally got around to tiling it last weekend and while I was at bunnings he got it grouted yay

So here's a few pictures of the nightmare, keep in mind its still not done, the overhead storage thing needs to be painted white, the wooden legs supporting it will be changed to chrome and the stereo will get replaced with a sink and tap will put a mirror above the sink and find a couple of infill cabinets for alongside the storage unit, the cabinet under the sink still needs a couple more coats of paint and I've asked dh to retile the bench and splashback in that black tile with the white vein (asking him, and him actually doing it are two different things though... ) it originally just all got tiled in what was lying around the house

anyhow here we go

here we have the carport, bricked in and designated the laundry room :-/

Lol did you take the photos in the dark so we can't see how bad it looks???
You will have to take some more tomorrow so we can truly sympathise and help to nag your DH into retiling.

Hi mjm I am impressed with all your renovations
I wouldn't have patience to live in a house while it is been renovated. Your laundry looks lovely and coming along very well and I love your toilet tiles.
Thanks for showing us the photos
