New from Perth

Hi all, Im new to the forum and just wanted to let you know Im here. Im more or less new to the decorating world. The urge is always there but just never had the opotunity or felt that I knew what to do.
I have never known what my style is and still dont I like alot of different things from wooden country look through to sleek new aged things. Depend on the house I guess. I have been living with my boyfriend for a few months now with my kids and he has given me permission to decorate the front room
It has a wooden bar with dark brick wall. Not much else. All the carpet will need ripping up as its stained from YEARS of neglect and the walls will need patching and patching, its a big job but Im sooo excited
