New to the decorating world

Hi Im Fiona I live in Melbourne we moved here in August 09 from NSW. We only rent at the moment so I have to learn decorating ideas that the landloard appreciates. I really haven't done alot of decorating before other then doing up our first home we sold a few years ago. Im not really sure what type of a theme to come up with? Do you choose a theme for the whole house or just room?
We have 2 children 9 and 4 and am expecting a baby boy in July. I want to decorate a nursery for him as well as gather ideas for the rest of the house.

That is a really good question as to whether you choose a theme for the whole house or just a room?
Why not start a new thread under Home Decorating Forum and lets see what people think

I am returning after a being MIA
The last time I was on I was having a baby and busy with almost 3 kids.
I'm not very busy with 3 kids and write 2 blogs and guest write on others too.
I would really love to learn more about decorating and style and hope you lovely ladies can help me with that. I have already learnt a lot by visiting here before so I know it is a great place to learn from. I hope you have all been well and hope to catch up with the old members and meet some new members too.
