Mirror on stairs
We are planning on putting a mirror on the wall between the lights on the stairs - images below. The plan is for the mirror to reflect the light from upstairs to the downstairs entry area, as well as being a decorative feature.
We saw a couple of nice mirrors on the weekend, one rectangular and one round.
They are both a mirror in the middle, and then framed by smallish squares of mirror, with some black in there somehow - behind the small squares I think.
I am thinking ahead to the purchase of a table for the space below the stairs.
I have seen a nice round black table, so should I have the round mirror to they tie in?
Or is that irrelevant? I actually prefer the rectangular mirror, so do I go with that and then try to find a small rectangular table?

If you love the rectangular mirror - go for it
I actually think a round pedestal table in that little nook, with a large vase on it, then with the mirror up and behind it would look quite fabulous!

That's going to look gorgeous. I would go the rectangular mirror with the round table just to mix it up a bit.

I think either will work with that space and the table Cherylle. So if you prefer the rectangular one then go for it. Where did you find the mirrors and the table?

Thanks for that info Cherylle .
Sadlers at Osborne Park had those rectangle mirrors on sale a few weeks ago. Might be worth checking out.
