Meals and More blog
I thought I would let you know our lovely Eli has started a new blog called Meals and More. It's all about Eli's passion for cooking. Not only does she have some yummy recipes on there already but a video on how to chop an onion. I need to check out that video. I hate chopping onions .
So pop over and check out Eli's new baby .

Oh so know I now who you are TTD
Thanks guys it is a whole new thing for me as I outsource the other two blogs I have but I think as I am so passionate food it feels different. I'm going to ride along with it and see how it goes, I am loving the whole Chefs Toolbox thing even with most of my demonstrations being in Melbourne.
The other advantage is that I can easily share my recipes, I do get sick of typing them up and printing them out for friends and family. Might have to put together a cookbook NOT!

Oh yum and so clever to use the rack to hold them (haven't seen that done before). I aspired to making cake pops several years ago, before they became really popular in Oz but just never got around to them...on the agenda soon I think.
Hope you have a lovely day tomorrow
And MJM watch the apple sponge it is a war time recipe and as heavy as hell, but utterly yummy.

I did the apple sponge tonight, while I was trying to do other things, and decided I would double the recipe, but then I ended up doubling the double, because I just wasn't concentrating, so ended up making another ring tin of sponge mix, which I think I will put in the freezer to make a trifle or something.
Mine was actually quite light, so maybe I somehow adjusted the double double recipe and it worked out that way??
Anyway, it was yummy, and I have been in the mood for something like this.

Brilliant, my Nan would be clapping her hands in her grave - she loved people enjoying her recipes

I find the rack easy to use with the pops, it supports them really well. That's my Chef's toolbox rack too BTW
Thank you DD had a lovely day and dinner at our local Pub - her choice. Plus a surprise trip to the shops to get her ears pierced.
Here is a better photo of the cupcake pop. They are so yummy.

and how we gave them out at netball -
