Default Magnetic door stops

Do you have magnetic door stops? What do you think of them? Could you be without them? Any tips on how to select "the best" one?

I don't want the floor ones as I don't want to make cleaning my floor any more time consuming than it already is...

Also, do you have them on every single door or just some?

I was thinking these ... But they might stick out a bit too much against our whisper white trims and walls?

I was looking at door stops but didn't get them in the end, the doors that open onto walls stay open (not all my doors do!) & I was a little worried that the stop would get in the way. I'm also not sure that wall mounted is any easier re cleaning as you still have to work around it sticking out from the wall.

I didn't like the look of the sharp edges on that one from Gainsborough, anyway when I was looking I found all of these http://www.dinodirect.com/stops/curr...P.html?cur=AUD

Those are very similar (if not the same) to the ones we had in our last house, B. I couldn't live without them, particularly as most (all?!) of our doors are open during the day and so are the windows. I wouldn't want them slamming and/or the handles puncturing the walls.

I bought one of the metal variety that sticks out from the wall but have yet to have int installed.

Will let you know how it goes since I only bought one so we could test it out first.

We need door stops of some variety since being in an old house the doors will just open or close when they feel like it.

I thought about getting these but chose to buy doorstops instead. I like that doorstops are a decorative item. So I have grey Parisian style acorn doorstops.
