Default Looking for inspiration and ideas

What to cook for dinner? I swear this is the most boring decision of the day.
So I am in search for inspiration - tell me what are you having for dinner tonight?

Lol at the moment they are getting nothing Cath. I have to go to the supermarket so I am looking for ideas. Perhaps I will cheat and pick up a ready made lasagne from the butchers.

You are after something quick..How about a lennards Chicken goody, they always have fun things to eat/
Something COOL by the looks of your weather! You guys are having a HOT time there.
How about a cooked roast chook. Always a HIT with tabouli and salad.
When we were there the locals would always say ANzac week is the bginning of the cooler weather.....

It is hot here today but I have no idea what the temperature is. I haven't had the radio or TV on all day. Cold chicken and salad sounds great to me. Sadly my 2 picky eaters won't anything on a bone.
Yes the weather usually cools around Anzac Day or Easter. That's a while yet though. Most people here are over summer. Because we had January in Europe where it was freezing- I think I can survive a few more weeks - just

Bear in mind those Leonards chicken thingies have heaps of preservatives and flavour enhancers....

Easier to put some chicken breast with herbs, lemon juice and olive oil in some foil and bake... Maybe with some potatoe salad...

Bit late now but there is always tomm night.......

Cath: Love your chips........sound great....don't own a deep fryer but can always wok them......

I actualy made rice and lentil pilaf served with yoghurt...Hubby is going to be happy with that (NOT) when he gets home from "Rome" - went straight from work to the block...needs to sure up the footings for fireplace before base brickwork complete... probably needs a good steak but don't have any cow on hand.....

No not too late here in Perth- it's not even 4.30pm here. I will grab something from the butcher because he doesn't use preservatives and stuff. It's all home made that day. You can even see the 2 chefs doing the cooking.
