I hope that they sort this out for you. It really shouldn't be your hassle.
I know the feeling though, you just don't want to be constantly chasing up and dealing with these things when you are paying good money to live somewhere.
We are building but living in a terribly unhealthy house that has mould, damp, pests, you name it. Part of a floor board collapsed the other day and the real estate still haven't even looked at it, nor the leak in the roof that causes a downpour in an inside room each time. The mould, that is a terrible story, I have had to chuck out a chest of drawers, a childs toy and numerous other personal items due to getting mouldy in this house.
So I know what it is like, I just hope that they take it seriously and fix it
. Why would he take a picture of your Christmas tree??? I do hope the problems get fixed quickly. Sealing the shower is a very quick and simple process. And best yet - it works. We own an apartment that we rent out. The bathroom in the unit above started leaking through their tiles and on to our bathroom ceilings. Our property manager was great and said this was likely to be the problem. The people above had their tiles sealed and the problem was solved
