Default Laura Ashley floral Carpet

When I read awhile ago that floral carpets were in fashion I had flashbacks to the garish floral carpet of my youth - sorry Mum but it was pretty disgusting.
Then I came across these pictures of carpet designed by the Laura Ashley company for Brintons Carpets. You know I could quite happily live with some of these. I know they won't appeal to our contemporary style members but for those of us who like to add a touch of romance to our decor- what do you think?

Default Rugs?

Not sure if I could have a whole room carpeted in floral! But....
Check out these rugs

I think I might just love the colourful poppies.
How much I wonder

I'm not a fan of floral carpet but I am absolutely swooning over the Florence Broadhurst rugs. Divine.

Default Laura Ashley

Hi all
great forum. I am planning on having the Malmaison in Linen laid in the bedrooms of my new house so will let you know how it goes.

Also, if you can afford a Florence broadhurst rug get one because they are amazing. My husband had "Horses Stampede" made for me in black with cream. Its on order so hope to have it in the next few weeks. They will make it to size, its $1000 per sq m

Welcome to the forum Zoe- great to meet you.
You are one lucky girl to be getting that gorgeous rug. I do hope you will share some pictures of it when it arrives.
What room are you going to put the rug in?

Not my thing for my own home but I saw one of these recently and it made me smile! Very brave use of colour! I love it, but not for my own home, too girly and bold.
