Default Italian Style Bathroom

My DH was in Florence recently and took a picture of this in the window of a tile and bathroom shop. I always thought the Italians had great taste
What do you think?

Not my cup of tea !!

Some nice elements but the whole thing together doesn't work for me.

I think that's quite ugly but there is this thing about the Europeans that have quite a daggy yet strangely stylish look.....I know that makes no sense but I found this travelling Europe quite a bit.....things you could never get away with in fashion and decor somehow had a place in Europe....

Gross! The other thing I don't get is why Europeans have this fascination for bidets. We have a business acquaintance who has just built the most stunning huge house and the main bathroom has a ceramic urinal and a bidet? I queried them as to why (they are older Aussies) and they wanted the house to be old age ready.

I installed a bidet for a client once. It was for the same reason to be prepared when they were older. They asked did I want to test it out. Umm no thanks.
I am with the it is truly gross group.
