Default Internal and front door leversets

Mr thisisme and I both short listed the handles we liked. The one below was the only one we BOTH liked. All the other ones I liked he hated, and the ones he liked I hated. So looks like this is it:

What do you think?

Also, do you think we should have the same handles on our front doors, or have something different? Eg.

Our front doors (will be painted black):

Our facade:

For the front door, I love the look of those long square handles.

I like the choice for the internal lever handles. The would look a little bit dwarfed on your grand facade.

I'm not generally a big fan of levers for front doors, but I really like the picture you've posted above, and think it will go really well with your front doors.

Yes I love the handles for internal doors. But something bigger is probably better for the front door.
Have a look at the size of the handles on Elements home. Maybe something like that.

I've voted for "something different on front door" too. Love the bar handles, especially on double doors.

These guys are up on the Sunshine Coast in Brisbane and have a great selection -

Great that you and MrTIM agreed on the internal handles

So long handles wouldn't look too modern for our traditional facade?

Our doors will be gloss black.

Those are nice lever handles, the external ones would also look good but the longer handles make more of a statement. Even though your house has more traditional styling it is still very contemporary so the longer handles will look fine & will reflect the long vertical walls of the facade.

One thing to consider with the pull handles is you always need a key to get back in the house, where as you can come & go with a leaver handle. Also if are you having security screen doors you may loose the impact of the long handles behind the screens.
