Where do I start; I would like to sit down with someone and review our design, talk about colour, the feel of the house. We are enjoying designing the structural part of the house but I am afraid when it comes to the finishing touches we are beginners that need coaching (lots).

Hi Julie we can help you with all these areas here on the forum for free. Then at the end if you need some individual assistance I can do that for you too. I will send you a Private Message to give you some more detail.
Meanwhile I would suggest you start a thread under our My Build/ Renovation forum about you renovation. Pop any plans you have of the renovation on there. We can then have a good look at them and make any suggestions. This way you will get lots of these creative people's ideas. To insert images and plans you can find the instructions here.
