Default Inexpensive food processor - Breville Kitchen Wizz?

I am after an inexpensive food processor and am thinking this might fit the bill:

http://www.breville.com.au/food-prep...en-wizztm.html

Click the image to open in full size.

It has a 2l bowl capacity. Is that big enough for a large bread loaf tin?

I would mainly be using it for crushing biscuits and making cheesecake/tart bases.

I've read that the bowl can crack if washed in the dishwasher, but otherwise the reviews don't seem to be too bad.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this little machine

I think for bread you would need a stand mixer, with a dough hook.

Not sure yet . It says that it can knead dough .. Unless they are only referring to cookie dough...

"It has all of the attachments you need to whisk egg whites, knead dough, chip potatoes, chop, slice and shred."

I'm selling my food processor because it can't make bread dough. It can make a dough that is Ok for pizza though.

Abigail, what do you use to crumb biscuits for tart/cheesecake bases?

I am not to fussed about the bread part, but thought it would have been a nice bonus.

Tim, If you're not fussed about the bread the Breville is a great machine. My dil has one.
It does perform lots of functions. I've just bought a Thermomix. I was very impressed with it at the demo I went to.

Since it cant be used to knead bread dough I am not worried about the 2l bowl capacity any more

Can you use your Thermomix to crush cookies and make cheesecake bases?

Whilst I agree that a Thermomix seems to be an amazing kitchen tool it is not inexpensive
