How to Insert & Attach Images

I often get asked about this and to be honest it took me a while to work out how to insert the images. So I thought I would create this sticky for anyone who wants to attach or insert images.

Attaching is probably the easiest method. This is when the picture comes up as a thumbnail at the bottom of your post
1. Click on the box Manage Attachments, on the left below the box where you write your post.
2.Another window will appear.
3.If you want to use a picture that is on your computer click Browse.
4.The Finder menu(mac) or My Computer menu will appear. Find the picture you want to load.Click on that picture. And click Open.
5.If you want to use a picture from a website, copy the URL into the box titled URL.
6.In both cases then click upload and wait for it to do so.
When you click Preview Post you should see the thumbnails at the bottom of your post.

Inserting the images in the middle of your post.
There are 2 ways to do this.
Method A:
This way works best with images taken directly from the internet.
1.Right click on the image and click on "Copy Image"
2. Click the Insert Image that is in the box above where you post, where you can change the font etc. It looks like a mountain with a sun above it.
3. A box will drop down. Delete the http:// and paste the Direct Link code.
4. Click Preview Post and hopefully it worked.

Method B:
1.You will need to use a program similar to Photobucket and load your image into that.
2.In Photobucket you can resize the image to what you want.
3.In Photobucket find the Direct Link code and copy it.
4.With Photobucket this code will only work if it is from the main window, if another window pops up and you take the code from there it doesn't work (computers they are sent to test us somedays)
5.Click in the post box where you want the image to be.
6.Click the Insert Image that is in the box above where you post, where you can change the font etc.
7.A box will drop down. Delete the http:// and paste the Direct Link code.
8.Click Preview Post and hopefully it worked.
