Default House plans: Just for Fun

I need your help...

I am looking for house plans (just for fun - who knows what I am thinking!).

I NEED:

Laundry not near bedrooms
Games/rumpus room - this needs to be positioned near 3 bedrooms and a bathroom for my boys
Open plan kicthen/meals/family

Have you seen anything like this before?

Although I can draw my own plans, I thought it would be cool to see what my blogging friends know.

Here is a plan I sort of like... I can see half a dozen things I would change already.
Firstly the plan is not big enough and there is no office. I do not want a formal lounge room. Been there done that and it's a waste for us. I would rather double the size of the Meals/Kitchen area.

I am discussing this exact same post over at my blog too.

Katrina, I'm not able to help you with house plans. Something to consider though - FENG SHUI!......... The master bedroom is best at the back of your home. If you are going to have a walk in warbrobe and an ensuite it is always best to access your ensuite through the robe. ( if that makes sense)

This is one of my favourite single storey house plans. Katrina, it's not want you completely want, laundry does back onto a kids bedroom and it has a formal lounge which I have seen converted to a study with double doors on a blog. I love the kids area, family area and that the parents room is all the way down the other end of the house from the kids!! Ticks Lorraine box there

I like the bedroom down there, that looks great! It has a lot of the same elements as my current house and my old work's display home. Good mix. Thanks tryingtodecorate! Porter Davis is a good company too.

Katrina, just for fun house plans can sometimes lead to reality fun projects... Do you like the idea of running the laundry off the kitchen? I might have a plan for you.

Does it have to be single story Katrina?
I love that plan TTD- very nice layout of the living areas and love the master bedroom.
So Lorraine for good feng shui you are best to have to have to walk through the area for the wardrobes to get to the ensuite? I never knew that. Our bedrooms are all down the back of the house as it is quieter. Plus our family room is at the front of the house (on the corner) which is interesting for people watching.

Yes single story.

My sister has her bedroom at the back and walk's through the robe to the ensuite...but I bet she didn't know the feng shui benefits of doing that!

Hmmmm... she has little little kids so I doubt there is any good energy (let alone in the bedroom LOL)...
