Default hospital

Had to rush hubby of too hospital this afternoon he is spending the night. They think he may have been bitten by something.
He had a temp of 44 degrees and could not stand up straight and headache and feeling unwell,But his elbow doubled in size and has a hard mass on the elbow.

OH no .... that's awful and very scarey for you all.
At least he's in the right place for the medical staff to look after him, do tests, etc.
Hope all is ok and he's home again soon!

they are not thinking it is a think called infectious arthritis which reading on the internet is a scare thing as it is a infection that eats away at your tendences etc and if not treated in time or with the right treatment can lend to permanent damage.I think i like it better when they thought it was a spider bite.It seems it can be from something as simple as a insect
bite

Hope he is well soon Yvette ... if it is any consolation, my Miss Ten had something similar happen to her last year. It turned out it was a spider bite, but noone could tell until the swelling went down. Put the heebies up us though.

He's in good hands.

How terrible for you all Yvette. I have never wished someone had a spider bite. But I hope that is all it is in the end. Fingers Crossed.
