Hi Tony, welcome to the forum, a friend of mines Dad owns a similar business. He has just finished doing the fit out for the new Gucci store here in Perth and talked about how hard and rewarding all at the same time.....

Your friends dad is right, it is both hard and rewarding. I'm currently working on a doctor surgery, lawyers offices and a printing house. I must admit though it is much easier doing office fit outs than retail. Both office and shop have deadlines. office is much more forgiving whereas with retail I have more of an opportunity to be creative so yes very rewarding. PS I'm going to be a daddy 25th November so I'm anti****ting it getting harder but in a good way

Glad to hear your busy, thats a bonus these days also.......I was able to be part of the finishing touches of an office fit out late last year and thorougly enjoyed it. I think its depends on the budget how rewarding it can be aswell.

Oh too cool a new Daddy, Now you have to remember this frase while your lovely wife/partner is in her 1st pregnancy. "Happy wife, happy life"
Say it over and over again....actually my DH has learnt that saying for every situation.
