Hmmm.... there are bifold doors which open out from the dining room to the outdoor entertaining area to the north. However i am hoping that the weight of the lights will be enough to stop them blowing around. I have seen the lights in person and they are quite heavy, so fingers crossed.

If they have some weight to them they should be fine. The lower they are the more of a statement they will be.
So is this a renovation or are you building from scratch dbjancourt?

Cool thanks julie-Ann. This is a new build, 4bd house made from hebel and linea boards with a skillion roof. very exciting as we have never built before.
