I had wonderful plans for a chandelier or something gorgeous and glass over my bath but my electrician has said 'no' it is illegal in Australia as lights have to be 'x' amount above the floor in a bathroom. Now looking for something sparkly close to the ceiling but think i will give up and spend the money elsewhere. So disappointed as I bought the freestanding bath with a light in mind.

Paris Girl do you know the measurement the light needs to be away from water? Is your light fitting directly above the bath? What height is the ceiling? I do love the look of a chandelier over a free standing bath.
