Hello from Hobart

Hello everyone

I am a complete newbie here and am only just discovering what it's all about.

I am the SAHM of our 3 children under 6 and we have just bought a renovated 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with large garden in Hobart. It was built in 1924.

Whilst it's renovated, we are gradually discovering all the little (and not so little) details requiring our attention.

Such as the complete rewiring needed in the old part of the house. Apparently there are about 5 generations of wiring up in the roof, complete with extension cords, to boot!

I'm looking forward to gleaning some decorating ideas here. It should be fun!
