Smile Hello from the Blue Mountains outside Sydney!

Hi there,

My name is Lorraine and I live in the beautiful Blue Mountains just on the fringes of the Sydney metropolitan area.

Looks like this is the place to be now that I'm re-decorating my home.

Hi Lorraine C how wonderful for you that you live in the Blue Mountains. Such a spectacular area.
What are you planning on redecorating? We are here if you want to bounce ideas around.

Oh yes, it's a wonderful community and area to live in. Totally surrounded by a huge national park. I'm fortunate to have some bush land at the rear of my property. Very peaceful.

I'm basically reprinting the whole house. When we moved in 11 years ago I didn't like the peach/apricot coloring with brown pink trim... hate it even more now. Just been too busy over the years with business and children to get into it.

As I paint each room I'm modifying or replacing existing furnishings. Once it's all done ill then replace the carpets...wooho.....that'll get a day I look forward to. The carpeting is neutral and ok but when the decorating is complete the carpets are going to look so aged. I'd better start saving I think..carpeting is not cheap.

Being able to do 1 room at a time is what I love about renovating as against building. So which room is first?
You might like to read this article on carpet I wrote. I know all about the cost of carpet as we had to replace some carpet that was only 6 months old because my new cat pooped on it. It was as you said - not cheap.
