Default I have to tell you about Dinner Sat night.

I had a great evening Sat night and quite unique.
So I have to share...
Some of you may remember there was one series of Iron Chef Australia....
The winner of that series was from WA and he has started a fantastic business called Herb Faust Food.
He travels to your home with all the ingrediants a waitress, crockery and all the cooking utensils to create a menu that you would never think to order if you went out for dinner.
Here was our menu and some of the dishes.
The only one I can fit on which I will post later is the dessert....which was divine.
Each meal was so light and fresh you didn't feel full or overwhelmed by the food, he explained each meal before we ate it and I have to say had I gone to a restaurant and had these items on the menu I wouldn't have ordered them but they were all the most amazing flavours.
Anyway.....if you are in Perth and you would like a unique dining experience without leaving your home or doing the dishes....love that part...look up Herb and book in a night......I will just add he is booked out for weeks in advance. But you can see why.

Looks great, K!

I bet it was a great feeling, having someone wander into your house, prepare the food, serve you and clean up. Sounds totally blissful to me

What a great idea !

I did something similar for a director that was leaving the company. I rented a gorgeous beach house for the night (slept 13 people) and arranged for all of the team to come down to the house for dinner (& stay of course - couldn't have anyone drive home under the influence) and then had a chef come in and cook a gastronomic delight for us.

It was a special way to farewell a very special person that was a little bit 'out of the ordinary'.
