Default Handles

So shopping atm for door handles for all the wardrobe doors and linen cupboards.....

Was in the market for 10 handles and had looked high and low for something a little different and something to match the bungalow style of house..

I always try to shop in Aus where I can but found myself back at the Designer ****s and Pulls website

This is where I got all my kitchen handles........

It's too easy....I just sent an e-mail to them and then the lovely John e-mails me a quote and then I pay his Paypal Invoice. Really reasonable shipping via USPS...Just sit back and wait for these to arrive....

Please post and vent away, R-R, then I won't feel like I am the only one where things went wrong one after the other and all I did was whinge, whinge, whinge.

That's not cool, man. Close just isn't close enough sometimes, is it. Let's look forward to celebrating Easter in Rome - maybe the Pope will even make an appearance...

P.S. I love your handle choice.

We went with what would have been in the house originally, safe but boring.

I found shopping/researching online to be the least stressful part of the building/renovating process and never had any issues.

Di..... I thought of you when yelling at my floor finisher yesterday....

The floors are lovely but I asked for a semi-gloss and they look very matte/satin.....

It was just explained that the alcohol based product they use called Synteko
http://www.synteko.com.au/
will never have the same look of a normal polyurethane semi gloss and so perhaps a gloss in Synteko would like your normal semi gloss......

Oh great yes I didn't even know they were using Synteko until after it was polished... I should've got out that crystal ball..silly me.

Oh and I can have another coat.............its only $950 extra to get the look I paid $4,000 to get..... RIGHTO......

Anyway everyone is saying that the matte look is far more practical and so I am not paying another cent out ....(as if I have another cent to give)

My plumber is no where to be found, my concreter was mauled by his dog (myBIL)... permit for street precautions expired b4 side fence went up (another paperwork to file another $250)... The heat has pushed a few things out of wack and the shoddy plastering job is becoming apparent as Mr RR struggles with skirts and arch installation...
The gas meter guys put it in wrong place and chipped our brickwork....

Breathe Rosie Breathe...................

Mr RR was off 4 6 weeks but now back at work so is there at night....more single mumness going on as I struggle to start Mr6 at special school and Mr4 at kinder.....

Oh and the ants have tried to push me over the edge...................the ants that have me rocking back and forth in a corner ....... they won't leave me alone....

Hysterical much?

.................see sign on me that says do not open the floodgates do not open the floodgates....

Actually Mr RR and I have practised a saying that is : "It is what it is...it will be what it will be, when it will be, it will be...!"

I love the handles Rosie. I am so glad one thing has been an easy process.
All the other stuff really stinks. But feel free to vent here as most of us have lived through similar experiences. Although not usually quite as many problems at the one time.
Is your BIL okay? That sounds awful.
