Default Handle lengths. Same or different

Would you rather have uneven gaps between handles and drawers or have small handles on wide drawers?

Eg.

I'd do the second - have the handles the same length

I think find one size handle that fits all the drawers but keep them small enough so you can't tell all the drawers are different find a balance between the smallest drawer/cupboard and largest drawer/cupboard and use that one....
My drawers were lightly different but all the handles were the same. My personal opinion, obviously...

I have used the same 24cm length handles on my cupboards & draws but I think it depends on the cupboard/draw layout & style of handle (mine are black). The gaps are much wider than the handles so you don't really notice the difference between the different width draws/doors.

On your other thread someone advised using tape so you could visualize the handles prior to choosing, I think this is the best idea for you since you have your kitchen in place

I would want even gaps if using different length handles.

I know this is terrible but I like both. I think Sooty's idea of using the tape is a great idea. Just be sure it is very low tack as we don't want it to mark your doors. But it will help you decide.

My handles are all different lengths but have the same gaps from end of handle to side of drawer. Can you do that?

I have no idea, the cabinetmaker did it all. I just told him what handles I wanted and he ordered whatever lengths were needed. Just pure luck maybe.

has the cabinet maker given you any advice about this?

Surely there must be some type of standard?
