Thanks Lorraine I will. Maybe I can sell the rice cooker I never use to buy a slow cooker.

So I have to go and do some food shopping later and I need inspiration.
What are you cooking tonight?

Fantastic Rachel. We all have our talents and food is not mine.
Great to get some ideas for easy to prepare meals.

Will everyone please stop talking about slow cookers?

Mine died last winter (luckily, at the end!), and I haven't replaced it yet. I have a VERY small kitchen, and all the ones I've seen would take half the bench space.

But, oh, do I miss it?! Especially as these lovely, dark, cooler evenings are upon us...

So, enough already. Let's talk about what we can do with our breadmakers... LOL

I am loving all the delicious meals being spruked here.
I had a lovely lunch today that I thought I would share.....could be good for easy dinner aswell.

Avacado, red onion, tomatoes chopped into small pieces with salt and cracked pepper....all on a piece of chiabbata bread or similar with 2 poached eggs and a tomato relish or salsa (very small amount) drizzled over the top.
It was delish and very fresh.

Now that I have had that I am thinking I will keep the mexican theme happening and go for Nachos for dinner.......easy friday dinner

That sounds so delicious Elements. I just bought some fresh eggs for poaching. I was going to have them in the morning but I think I will try this for lunch tomorrow instead.
For dinner tonight I am cheating. We are having left over butter chicken from the freezer. I always make a big batch so there is enough for 2 dinners.
Tomorrow I am cheating again. I have bought from the butcher a chicken swirl that has chicken, sundried tomatoes, cheese and olives in pastry for DH. And for Mr16 a lamb shank pie- so yummy.

Well, my DH is out tonight and we have some left over risotto/risoni, so I reheated that, added some cream cheese and topped that off with some grated tasty cheese and pop that in the oven. That way I have an easy cooked dinner with the kids and use up the left-overs too!
