Question Furniture shopping

Hi everyone,

Next weekend I am going to Adelaide to go shopping for furniture (Bed, Buffet, Besides, Dressing tables, Coffee Table, Lamp Tables, etc.) I am really going to look for items that are a bit different a have a bit of the wow factor. The only problem is being from the country the only shops I know of are Ikea, Freedom Furniture, Lecornu and Super-A-Mart. All of which are very well priced but have your standardised style furniture.

Does anyone know of any furniture shops in Adelaide that sell something a bit different but are still well priced, as H2B has me on a tight budget.

Mile End Homemaker Centre might be worth a visit. Also, there are a few stores on The Parade in Norwood as well.

Also, http://www.kmfurniture.com.au/ is supposed to have some nice stuff.

I would go to Early Settler in Grote or Gouger St ( sorry cant remember which street)

I would also head to the Parade, as there are a few places there, the lower section of the Parade especially ( near the Football Oval). Definately visit SE Waite and Son, just opposite the council chambers on the Parade.

There is a WOhlers and House and Garden warehouses on Richmond Rd, that have great furniture and sometimes really good specials.

There is also a House and Garden on Magill Rd ( just near Maid and Magpie) thats pretty good, and just up from that there is a Whitehouse furniture which is really good!!

I knew it was Rundle after I typed it but was too lazy to change it.

Have you checked out Pony in Charleston (between Woodside and Mt Pleasant or somewhere in the order like that).
I walked in there and said I like absolutely everything in this shop. Loved the Aboriginal art - very monochromatic and cool. Loved their cushions - loved loved it all.
