Default Front loader washing powder question

I got 1 years worth of OMO washing powder when I purchased a washing machine, but it is for Front Loaders and I have a top loader. Do I put in a little bit extra for each wash?

I don't think you'd need to adjust the amount NewHome.

The main difference between front and top loaders is the amount of water used (front loaders use less). Maybe just find out how much water a typical front loader uses for a full wash, then find out how much your machine uses and adjust the amount of powder accordingly.

Powder for a Front Loader is designed to create less suds so I don't think it is a problem to use it in your Top Loader - perhaps you may need a bit more or start off with the recommended amount and see how it washes?

Stupid question maybe but why would they give you front loader powder when you purchased a top loader?

I wondered the same thing, Eli

I have a Front Loader and am fairly certain you can use Front Loader powder in a Top Loader but not Top Loader powder in a Front Loader (or you need to use much less due to the excessive suds).

No idea why I got given front loader powder lol.

Only reason I can think of is the fact that I actually sent off the details and form a few days after the deadline - so I was shocked I even got anything!
