Default Front loader washer and dishwasher recommendation

I hate my top loader and ideally I need a front loader to be able to stack my dryer in my small laundry room. Does anyone have any recommendations on their machine that they love? I am not after anything fancy as long as its reliable and does the washing well. Size wise, probably need a 7-8 kgs.

I also need recommendation on dishwasher since ours died recently. Again, nothing fancy - just something that washes well.

Thanks in advance!

I recently bought a Bosch front loader and it is FANTASTIC. Even the 15 minute cycle gets my clothes cleaner than my old top loader.

As for dishwashers I don't think you can go past an Asko. We have had one for 18 years and it really has never skipped a beat.

Hope this helps...

I have had a Bosch front loader still happily going after more than 10 years - would definitely go straight for the same brand next time.

Thanks ladies. Will definitely look out for Bosch front loaders and Asko dishwasher.

18 years is a long time I'd be happy if it lasted a quarter of that

We have a Bosch dishwasher and a Miele front loader and both are wonderful.

I can't wait to replace our top loader with a front loader - our washing hasn't been great since we moved to this house and the hot water isn't connected to the washing machine - I sometimes add buckets from a tap elsewhere which is a real pain - we will connect hot water to the laundry but I'd still prefer front loader as gentler on clothes. I do cold washes normally but they would always add a bit of hot water to help dissolve detergent.

That is very strange. Have you tried Harvey Norman? Where have you tried Verychic?

Hi Very Chic

I noticed that you live in Brisbane like me. They used to stock Asko at Retravision Indooroopilly - I don't know if they still do.

Hope this helps.
