Default Floor Lamp Help Needed!!

In Januarys issue of Home Beautiful on pg 20 there is a lamp right in the corner. Its a Autoban 'Tulip Cone' Floor lamp from Spence & Lyda.

I love it and its been that 'it' product that I've been searching high & low for. I've been searching for over 3 years for the perfect floor lamp & on many an occassion I've been tempted to buy one just so I've got one but have resisted until I found my 'perfect' one. Well, I've found it but there is a HUGE problem.

It retails for $2100.00. Need I say more. Of course DH just about choked on his coffee yesterday arvo when I showed him the price. In fact 'choked' is probably not strong enough of a word. *Think projectile coffee being sprayed all over my outside lounge as I told him the price*.

Hence my dilemna. I could never spend that on a lamp especially since we are in desperate need of a panel lift door for our shed as little low lifes are stealing all his tools. So someone please help me - do you know if I can get a replica or even something similar?

I know that one of you lovely ladies will help me come up with a compromise.

Rofl your poor hubby. I can't blame him as that is one expensive lamp.
Just to clarify are you looking for the taller lamp on the right of this picture? And are you wanting a white or black shade?

What colour shade are you looking for? Does the base have to be a particular colour too?

I think either black or white shade. Would prefer black. Open to what the base would be but dont want like a fake gold/brass look.

ooh just went to check my mag - it looks much better there than in the above images (black base is so much nicer I think and it gets narrower at the top which looks great) and I love the spool side table also from the same expensive retailer.
Hmm there should be a good floor lamp around for a more reasonable price though - we'll have to find you one.
My husband wouldn't countenance that price either - I am desperate for the tulip outdoor chair from Domayne but I think I would need 2 and I think the price mightn't be in my favour either

(ok I realise that has nothing to do with lamps)

This is the Beacon version:

Not exactly loving it either - I would go a brushed silver arc light instead if had to choose from here.

@clp, ohhh I do love those chairs but sadly yes I too would want the two of them.

No, either lamp just dosn't do the original one justice do they?

I'll keep looking and dreaming .

I know this one isn't a tulip lamp but I thought I would show you as it is only $479.

Or this one from Buyster.

I'm afraid I couldn't find anything identical and affordable to your Tulip Lamp.
